Accomplishments
For the past 15 years, I have served as a Community Peace Officer with University of Alberta Protective Services, working to ensure campus security and the safety of students and staff. Throughout my career, I’ve de-escalated tense situations and helped individuals access support for critical issues such as homelessness, substance use, mental health, and financial challenges.
I have consistently provided crisis intervention and support to people facing trauma and violence, striving to make a positive impact in their lives.
Beyond my work at the University of Alberta, I am actively engaged in the community through various volunteer roles and board memberships. I am also committed to ongoing personal and professional growth, holding multiple certifications in areas including De-escalation, Non-violent Crisis Intervention, First Aid & CPR, Crime Prevention, and Threat Assessment/Trauma Response.
